23 Sep 2020

Dear Parents / Carers,

Public Health England have produced a letter which is attached which explains when a person requires a coronavirus test and what the symptoms of coronavirus are.

The Department have asked that this letter be shared with our whole school community in order to clarify the position if your child is unwell.

The intention of the letter is to help prevent children being taken out of school unnecessarily and answer some of the questions parents / carers may have around testing.

If you have any questions at all please email the school office on [email protected]

Starting Reception September 2021?

Each year we are delighted to welcome 60 children into our two Reception Classes. If your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 they may start primary school in September 2021. You will have received information from the local authority you live in. The link to Harrow Local Authority is here.

We would, generally, hold Open Days for parents and carers to have a look around our school and meet some of our staff. In this age of Covid-19 we can not hold our Open Days in the usual way.

We are planning to hold individual family tours from October and we’ll share more details of these shortly.

We appreciate that there’s a lot to remember at the moment. Things seem to be changing on an almost daily basis. We know this is true of schools; we receive guidance for the Department for Education on a daily basis. However, we can all manage this new normal, even as it changes.

Some key things to remember and some key sources of information.

Have you read your child’s letter from their new teacher?
These are all on our website under the Our School tab.

Have you read the letter from Mr Norris dated 1 September
You can read it here.

Do you know which door to use when you drop your child off?

Year 3 and Year 4 the gate on Elmgrove Road. Please be guided by the staff who will help you.

Do you know where to collect your child from?
