 Books to promote Social Emotional and Mental Health and Diversity

Do something amazing.

We are seeking to increase the number of books which promote good Mental Health and Diversity in schools.
For the first time, we are sharing our Amazon wish list which prioritises books we would love to have in our school.

  • Select the book you wish to purchase and add it to the basket.
  • Proceed to checkout.
  • At the checkout under ‘other addresses’ there will be an option to select ‘St Jerome’s Gift Registry Address’
  • Click ‘use this address’ in the yellow box which will then offer the gift options sections. 
  • A note can be added to say who has purchased the item
  • Add payment and click send and the book will be delivered to the school.

Black History Month

Tomorrow, Friday, children may wear red to ‘show racism the red card’. Children can wear their own clothes with as much red as possible.

The children have created some stunning Black History Month poster the winners of the competition will be revealed on Friday

School lunch booking system will be down on Wednesday 20th October

The school lunch booking system will be down from 6pm until midnight tomorrow, Wednesday. There may be times when it works during this period, but we have been asked to alert parents and carers to this issue. If you can therefore please book early it will be much appreciated.

Supply chain issues are hitting schools as they are hitting supermarkets, in these trying times we work extremely hard to ensure that we can still offer meals to children.

Elm Class – Parent Consultations

Coats

As the weather begin to turn colder and there is more chance of rain, more children are wearing their school coats. We appreciate that children, sadly, sometimes mislay items of school uniform. We try to reunite items of uniform and children as much as we can. If items of uniform are labelled this process is far easier for us and the likelihood of the items being returned to its owner is far greater. Could parents/carers please ensure school coats are clearly labelled.
