Please Park Responsibly

11 Nov 2021

Parents and carers who park near our school site are asked to park responsibly and not block private drives or park on pavements.
There are two parking spaces outside the Sleep Shop, people should refrain from parking on the pavement ‘creating a third space’. This blocks the pavement to those with pushchairs and those using mobility scooters.

The parking at Fitzgerald House is for the residents of that building only.

We thank you for helping us in our efforts to be good neighbours.

We regularly receive photographs of poor parking, and emails from our neighbours.

Anti-Bullying Week

9 Nov 2021

We are very excited to celebrate anti-bullying week next week, beginning Monday 15th November, with a variety of activities at St Jerome. We will begin our special week by wearing odd socks on Monday! You obviously do not need to buy anything new, just choose two socks that do not match. For children who wear tights they can simply wear their odd socks over their tights.

We have added anti-bullying themed books to our Amazon Wishlist and ask that parents who wish to donate to raise awareness of anti-bullying support us by purchasing a book for our class libraries.

For those of you who would rather make a small monetary contribution to raise money for the Anti-Bullying Alliance, we recommend a small donation of one pound. For more information please see the attached flyer.

The Anti- Bullying Alliance has also created a support pack for parents, which you will find these here.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Virtual Tour of Our School

3 Nov 2021

We appreciate how difficult it can be to choose the right school for your child. Whether you are moving to the area or whether you are looking for a place for your child in September 2022 in one of our two Reception classes. We hope our virtual tour helps you to gain some insight into our school.

We are also running a number of open events. These are subject to change if current Government guidance changes, but do consider booking your self a place.
You’ll discover more details here

Don’t forget you need to send your preference to the local authority you live in by Saturday 5th January 2022. As this is a Saturday we do recommend that you do this the day before, just in case you have any problems.
