Joining us in Reception in 2018

Dear Parents,

I am delighted to extend the warmest welcome to St. Jérôme School. Our entire team is very pleased that you have chosen to be part of our church school community and that your son or daughter will begin their education with us in September 2018. St. Jérôme School is proud to form part of the family of church schools working in close partnership with the London Diocesan Board for Schools.

Children joining us in Reception in September 2018 will have a staggered start between Thursday 6th September and Wednesday 12th September.
Parents/carers will have received a letter detailing their child’s start date and time.
Children on their first day will start at their staggered start time and remain with us until noon.
From the day after their staggered start they will come to school from 8.55am until noon. The school site opens from 8.40am, if parents want to come a little earlier to meet some of our other parents.
On Thursday 13th September children in Renoir class, Mrs Bowerman’s class, will stay with us for lunch and will not need to be collected until 12.45pm.
On Friday 14th September children in Monet class, Mrs Thana’s class will stay with us for lunch and will not need to be collected until 12.45pm.

Children will be able to attend our Breakfast Club which begins at 7.45am from the day after their staggered start.

The first full day of school will be on Monday 17th September, 8.55am – 3.15pm.
From this date children will also be able to come to After School Club which runs until 6pm, although children can be collected before this time if that is more convenient for parents or carers.
Both Breakfast Club and After School Club are chargeable.

Children will need to wear school uniform from their first staggered start day.

The Governing Body hope that parents who have chosen this school for their child have done so knowing that it is a Church of England school with a distinctive Christian ethos and that their child will receive a bilingual education in English and French. Governors therefore expect parents to give their full support to the school.

We have an ‘open door’ policy and are always happy to help if you need information or have any concerns. We look forward to a fulfilling and rewarding partnership that will help and support your son or daughter in every way.

Once again, on behalf of the entire team I welcome your family to St. Jérôme School.
