Here at St. Jérôme Church of England Bilingual School we want to ensure that we aid the learning of our children both at school and at home and our parents at home. Here are our selection of videos created by our staff.

Poème de la Fête des Mères Poem for Mothers’ Day


This video was recorded for the pupils of our partner school “Réveil Matin” in Houilles, the suburbs of Paris. Their wonderful pupils, with the help of their teacher Karima Wahbi made the beautiful flag banner displayed by our pupils at the back. Quel beau cadeau ! What a beautiful present ! Un énorme merci !


St Jérôme was thrilled to host the Rouffet French family, the founder of a bilingual Christian School to open in September near Lille. Here they shared a famous nursery rhyme with us.

Jolly Phonics Miss Vamadevan has been working with some of the children on phonics. This Jolly Phonics video will help your child learn and remember the phonics sounds and is great to sign along to.


Episode 7 Camembear has been to Paris over half-term. Madame Chadier and Camembear share with us about birthdays, counting, numbers and colours.  The content of Episode 7 for parents and pupils can be found and printed from here.

Episode 5 Madame Chadier and Camembear celebrate the festivals of November. They share a song about fireworks and talk to us about Remembrance in France and Britain. Episode 4 Madame Chadier and Camembear share a song about asking other people’s names and how they are feeling. They are joined by Camembear’s dinosaur. Episode 3 Madame Chadier introduces our everyday lunchtime song from and shares the little language learning miracles that are happening at St Jérôme.

Episode 2 Madame Chadier is sharing with the children and the parents two more songs : the first one is a traditional French nursery rhyme, the second one is a class routine song by Keep singing, especially when tidying away.


Episode 1 Madame Chadier and Camembear introduce the ‘Bonjour song’  and tell us about what has been happening at school. They perform the line-up song and talk about how to walk within the school.
