Chicken Pox | At least five days from the onset of the rash and until all the blisters have crusted over |
Measles or German Measles | Four days after the rash first appeared |
Conjunctivitis | No need to stay off school, but do inform the school office |
Mumps | Five days after the swelling started |
Diarrhoea and vomiting | 48 hours after the last episode |
Scabies | Until after first treatment |
Flu | Until recovered | Scarlet Fever | 24 hours after starting to take antibiotics |
Glandular Fever | No need to stay off school, but do inform the school office |
Slapped Cheek | No need to stay off school, but do inform the school office |
Hand, foot and mouth | No need to stay off school, but do inform the school office |
Threadworm | No need to stay off school, but do inform the school office |
Head Lice | No need to stay off school, but do inform the school office. Treatment should be given as soon as possible | Tonsillitis | No need to stay off school, but do inform the school office |
Impetigo | Until sores are crusted and healed or 48 hours after starting antibiotics | Whooping Cough | 48 hours after starting to take antibiotics |
