Year 4 pop musique

The 10-year anniversary of the opening of Saint Jérôme is fast approaching. To celebrate, our entry for the French Pop Video competition was dedicated to this milestone. The lyrics reflected on what makes our school such a unique and inspiring place to learn and grow. Our enthusiastic Year 4 pupils worked hard to record the song, showcasing their confidence, teamwork and creativity. This song is a wonderful celebration of our journey so far and a reminder of the bright future ahead.

“We the children of Year 4 had the opportunity to be centre stage for the video. We practiced the song quite a bit, sometimes during French lessons and during other bits of free time that we had. The filming process wasn’t too bad thanks to Mme Bakkali who took control and organised it all. We would also like to thank the Year 5 children who helped with the song writing. Everyone wanted to be centre stage but that wasn’t always possible so we did a lot of group singing and activities together. I liked the song and the fact that I could express myself whilst dancing and also make silly faces. We were all very excited, enjoyed making the video and loved the final result. We can’t wait to share the video with you all very soon.”

We all really hope that we will win again and it would make it even more special on the 10-year anniversary of the school.
