World Book Day Thursday 6th March

28 Feb 2025

We are fast approaching this year’s World Book Day. This year’s theme is, once again, ‘Read Your Way!’ We will use this day to celebrate our bilingual ethos and our love of French storytelling. We will be enjoying a variety of stories, especially fairytales. We welcome children to wear costumes of their favourite characters along our chosen theme of Fairytale, Fantasy and Fiction.

Please note that PE will be adapted on this day; there is no need to wear/bring PE kits.  There will be no swimming session on 6th March. Sequoia class will participate in alternative PE activities on-site.

International Mother Tongue Day is tomorrow!

13 Feb 2025

On Friday 14th February, we will be celebrating International Mother Tongue Day. We encourage all students and staff to come to school wearing their traditional clothes/costume, reflecting the rich cultural heritage we cherish within our school community. This will be a wonderful way to celebrate the unique backgrounds of our students and create an inclusive atmosphere for everyone.

Please note, Year 6 will also need to bring their full school uniform in with them. They will change into their school uniform before departing for their Junior Citizen trip.
