Cross Country Competition
26 Nov 2024On Tuesday 26th November 2024, 28 children from Year 5 and Year 6 represented St Jérôme at our first inter-school cross country competition at Newton Park. This was the largest group we have taken so far to participate and it was definitely worth it.
All the children did fantastically; they cheered for, supported and looked after each other throughout and in between the races. Each child experienced individual successes against others and against themselves, pushing themselves further than they thought possible. We await the final results, which will be posted on the sport’s notice board and will feature in an upcoming Quill. This is the first of three cross country competitions this year, so get out in the mud, and go run!
