Holiday Camp at Saint Jérôme School

Let’s Leap will be running their popular activity camp here at Saint Jérôme School during the Summer holidays from Monday 24th July – Friday 1st September.

Your children can attend the camp for any number of days or the whole week, and for parents, our days are flexible, giving you short, standard, and extended day options to assist with busy family schedules and work life.

Ofsted judgement announcement

We are delighted to share with you that our school has received a ‘good’ judgement by Ofsted following our recent inspection.
Inspectors said, ‘Pupils look forward to coming to school because of the calm and friendly atmosphere. They enjoy learning new things every day. They like it when their teachers give them useful tips to help them remember important facts.‘ and ‘Pupils participate in a wide range of clubs and educational outings.’ and ‘Pupils are surrounded by different cultures and diversity. They learn about different religions and visit places of worship for different faiths.’

PTFA Coffee Morning

It’s the PTFA coffee morning on Thursday morning at 9am until 10am at St John’s Church. A great chance to catch-up with fellow parents and carers.

Poppy Appeal

The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, during the period of Remembrance. Monies raised from the sale of poppies provides support and assistance for all those servicemen and women who have been injured in active service or for families of those who have lost their lives. In school we will be teaching the children the importance of ‘remembering’ and how this impacts on our world today.

If you wish to support this important national event, you will be able to buy a poppy from the playground next week. All proceeds will be donated to the Royal British Legion Annual Appeal and our Year 6 pupils will be selling poppies on behalf of the Poppy Appeal.

School photographer

The school photographer will be taking individual and potentially sibling photos on Monday 7th November. Please ensure your child is wearing full school uniform including tie and cardigan/jumper.

As this is the first time we have photographed a full school we will prioritise individual photographs and if time allows sibling photographs will be taken at the end of the day. We thank you in anticipation of your understanding.
